Rayford James Holroyd - Moonlighting in Glasgow

Born in Wigan 1978, Rayford's family moved to Yorkshire where he is based today. He studied Industrial Design at University, spending his spare time crafting pencil drawings. His sketches were very good and he quickly built a reputation in his local area which resulted in commissioned work.

After graduating as a 3D designer he continued to sketch whilst teaching himself the rudiments of fine artistry. In 2010 it was clear that his talent, creativity and imagination would lead him to full time occupation as an artist. Fast forward and he is now indeed a celebrated contemporary artist - painting skewing (but recognisable) townscapes and waterfronts. Compositional pieces which embrace stunning landscapes with warmth and a distinctly fun colourful vibe.
